Symbolism in Every Cut
Janice Velasco Moreno
Janice recovers and reinterprets objects such as old books, magazines, and frames, integrating them into meticulously crafted compositions. Her pieces explore deep themes like death, sex, and love, loaded with complex symbolism that reveals itself after careful observation. The scalpel, a medical tool, transforms into an artistic instrument shaping an intense and original inner world that surprises and moves viewers wherever exhibited.
